Blueberry, Aged Balsamic Vinegar
Beautiful, dark, ripe, blueberry flavor enlivens this incredible Italian aged balsamic. The blueberry was sacred to the Native American Indians and our Blueberry Balsamic will be to you too once you taste it. Use it with our Fused Garlic Olive Oil for a delicious meat marinade/rub. Pair it up with the Basil Infused Olive Oil for a sensational fresh garden salad dressing. Splash it over fresh fruits, in beverages (hot or cold) and for a memorable dessert - fresh mixed berries and Blueberry Balsamic over your favorite ice cream flavor. We had this over homemade Meyer Lemon olive oil ice cream. A little bit of work, but oh so worth it!
We use California's O'Neal Southern Highbush Blueberry to produce the most intense and flavorful infusion. This berry boasts one of the deepest sweet flavors of all blueberries and is one of the most widely produced blueberries in California. We love local and California is known for it's berry crops, so we are proud to keep it local. Blueberries are in season from April to late September and are at the peak of their flavor during this time.
